AKBAR AN EMPEROR TO BE REMEMBERED (PART 2)

 In the first part we talked about the early life and the style of Akbar which he implemented to rule his kingdom however this is the last part of the topic and in it we will cover Akbar's very own religion which he made by himself his relation with the Hindu community and his death so there is so much in this part so let's get started.

                               AKBAR SITTING ON HIS THRONE

DIN-E-ILAHI:

Yes Din-e-Ilahi was the name of Akbar's very own religion at first let's talk from the beginning Akbar built a hall which was named Ibadat Khana at Fatehpur Sikri the main function of the Ibadat Khana was to gather leaders of different religions and there they discuss about their own religions with the king.

 After some time Akbar realized that every religion have the same aim just to make their God happy and go to Heaven but the way of doing so is different so Akbar combined the policies of a couple of religions so every person could be of the same religion and there would be no difference of religion among the civilians so created the religion Din-e-Ilahi although the foundation of the religion was Allah and Quran but there was a major change in it that Akbar is the representative of God so people of all races and religion should bow down in front of the king many people were against him especially a big majority of Muslims but some of his courtiers who want to make the king happier accepted the religion however Akbar skipped his own religion after 10 years.

AKBAR'S RELATION WITH THE HINDUS;

As a big majority of the population living in Akbar's kingdom was Hindu of around 80 to 90 percent he had to make them happy and to do so firstly he banned the sacrifices of cows in Hindu areas because this act is not good according to there religion this makes them very happy while the other major step he took was he married a Hindu women at the age of 18 and encouraged Muslim men's to do so  he also tied strong bonds with the Rajputs who were declared as the most fierce clan of the Hindus also doing some minor acts favouring the Hindus he made them happy and maintained the peace through out his reign this is the reason why the Hindus love Akbar so much in fact he was the greatest king in there point of view this earned him the title of ZILLE-ILAHI (Shadow of God).

DEATH OF THE GREAT KING;

The death of Akbar can be called a major setback for the citizens although his son and grandson were successful in maintaining peace but he was regarded as the most favourite he died in the year 25 October 1605 at Agra.He was suspected to be poisoned but the truth has not yet revealed what was the main reason behind the death of the great king who ruled the  sub continent for 49 years and in these years he accomplished in maintaining peace all around the kingdom.On his deathbed he pointed his son Jahangir as the new king of the empire although he rebelled against his father in the past.His tomb was built at Agra.
